Hiking the Camino de Costa Rica

The Camino de Costa Rica  is a 16-day, 280km, Atlantic-to-Pacific hike that provides adventurous tourists an opportunity to travel off of the beaten track, and also allows rural Costa Ricans to benefit directly from tourism.

The trail is composed mainly of rural roads, but features several parts with the option to take forest trails, including through the lands of the Cabecar indigenous people.
